Ummmm...just got sent an email to review a product I ordered on October 17th but haven't received yet. So, sure, here is your review. I haven't gotten the product yet and I haven't even gotten a shipping notification or any other communication from your company.
Well, if I had an experience with these items I'd tell you, but since I have not received them yet ...
Epic little light
Good lights Thanks
This light really packs a punch and I like that it's adjustable for brightness and soft light filter. Only thing I don't like is that it gives a mount clip for it to rest in another shoe for use with a camera, but nothing to connect the two....I just have two female to female pieces.
This little gizmo came in hand the first day I threw it in my camera gear bag. I used it on my Canon 6D hot-shoe and it just the right amount of light to get a quick, clean shot, and it was not distracting to my subjects. This pocket camera light is a must-have for quick shooting.
I’m a Detailer and I only have my phone to take pictures of vehicles I do. This light really help with creating the best display of my work.
Amazing lighting from such a compact light! great job gvb gear!
This product is amazing! very light weight, easy to travel with, and the lighting is perfect!
As a social media user (Peaceheartjae) and YouTube amateur, I’m trying to find a product to really enhance my channel. I saw this LED light and purchased it as it’s made to use for a phone and/or a camera. I truly love this product! When I opened the box, I was really surprised! The light comes with a small compact case to keep your light safe. It can be used for your camera and phone. The light has different settings like increasing or decreasing the brightness. It can be very bright, which I love to create really enhanced videos. I’m excited to take this LED light to NYC as I start my travel channel. It’s so compact. I’m not worried about it having to fit in my luggage.

Still a very new owner of this, didn't get a chance to use with phone or other video recordings yet. However, it's an excellent little all-purpose light. Had to do some behind-the-desk-crawling-on-the-floor work on some PCs where it's notoriously dark, very difficult to position a flashlight or other traditional light source while I worked (amidst all the tangle of cables and whatnot). With this, it was a cinch! Had it on a fairly low level, as it was plenty of light for me ... about 30 mins of total use later, still strong battery (3 LEDs)! Love this little thing. Can't see why it wouldn't be excellent for video, when I get to it :-)
So portable you can take it anywhere!
When I get this daylight I was surprised. It is quite compact and very bright. I recommend to buy it without hesitation.

This light is quite small, hence very useful off camera. I use it tripod mounted off camera as a back/hair/side light for portraits, or on camera when doing closer shots in bright sunlight, as a fill.OK, the range isn't huge, and the mounts aren't the sturdiest I've had, but this isn't supposed to be a primary studio light, and the mounts are appropriate for the light size: just a nice to have, relatively inexpensive, easy to carry and relatively powerful little guy. Plus, the capacity to adjust light intensity is nice at close range.I'd recommend it.
Works great with Lumix G85
This is a good little accessory. It does exactly what it is supposed to do, which is be a steady bright light for a camera. It is cheap, and cheaply made, and the brightness dial is a little temperamental at times. I like that it is adjustable with angles. I have used it for some macro, and product shots on my Canon 5d Mark IV.
This is little light really shines! Lights up the room way more than you'd think from such a little light. Great for vlogging, get the soft light from the side just right with this one

It’s small but bright. Definitely worth it
I love this light. Although my dog chewed on it a little bit it still works great. It is nice and bright and recharges quickly.
For the price, I'd say its essential. It wont magically solve all your lighting, but its great when you need a little extra somewhere for effect. It's brighter then I expected it to be, and it comes in a nice case to fit it, and its accessories. Whenever I do any video work, I include it in my bag even if I don't plan to use it. Fits well on a small pocket sized tripod I carry around everywhere I go too.Rather have it and not need it, then need it and not have it.
works great. various strengths of light. i love it so far.
I am very pleased with this alternative light source. It came fully charged and worked perfectly out of the box. The design is ingenious and the box included two types of mounts for either a camera or a phone. The orange filter is very helpful in warming the bright white light, especially at the highest power. This is going to be a useful item for various tricky photo situations where just a bit more light from a different angle is needed, and also for where a flash might be inappropriate.
This little light definitely serves its purpose. It provides decent lighting for my blogging photos in a compact size to take with me anywhere. This light is handy, small, and super useful. It helps me take great pictures on the go without requiring a ton of equipment. The price is great too!
This little light is very good for filming weddings! The light is very light to be mounted on your camera or perfect for a gimbal. It is very light, and very bright!

This light is a pretty good value. It's comparable in size and form factor to the Apature ALM9, but has a few key differences: The build quality seems a little less high quality though still plastic and it has 12 LEDs to the M9's 9 LEDs. It is a brighter light and suitable to all the same purposes as the Apature light, but I noticed that at lower power settings the light can be inconsistent and will brighten and dim at random. At full power I never had any issues.
Great light and a must have for you bag. Will definitely be ordering a few more. Light is very bright and usable for many needs. It has a plastic housing and mount which of made of metal would make this a 5 ⭐️ product but you can’t beatbit for the price.
this little light packs a punch. I love the thing and use it on my camera, when I'm working under my car, when I go out camping, anytime I need light but also need to worry about space and weight.
using with my Hasselblad Stellar II and it produces Great results. the size is compatible with a small camera. downside is the magnetic points for the diffusion are too small and I lost on first photo outing. I bought another one but plan to secure with gaffers tape to secure. luckily it was only $42 but represents an unnecessary through as there are no replacement diffusers.
It is of a light weight and fits in pant or shirt pocket. It feels lighter and gives good light coverage. It supplements the lighting for cameras like Nikon, Canon, Sony and iphone. It ensures that great photography is got. The battery works for approx. one and half hours before recharging it again. It can be charged again with the help of usb. It can be easily carried on the go and while on road trips.
I looked into this and the Aputure M9. M9 I'm sure is also a great value, but I went with this cause I liked the accesories. Bright little light, and although I don't think bright enough for use on camera, I've taken to keeping it in my pocket on shoots to do off camera lighting of details at events, which looks nicer. Haven't tested how long it lasts at full power. I will note that I don't like the filter situation which is just a gel that goes under the Diffuser. It shifts around, and is tough to get in there perfectly, so that's annoying, but often I shoot with daylight balance (depends on situation), and anyway with the filter mounted it does the trick for tungsten too. Good quality color light too.
I received a GVBGear Pocket Camera Light in exchange for an honest review. What a handy little tool this is! I've used this far more frequently and with better results than I was expecting from such a small package. It literally fits in your coat pocket - in its padded case it's about the size of a couple of packs of cards. But it really packs a wallop. At its brightest it is dazzlingly bright yet it's also dimmable to low light incrementally. The attachments allow it to fit just about any smartphone or any camera fitting. It's easy to clip in place where you need it because it is light and easy to maneuver. It comes with a couple of filters that are held in place magnetically with a very clever design that alleviates any threading or stands. These are inexpensive enough that a semi pro/budding filmmaker could have three (key, fill, backlight) and have a portable lighting kit for on the fly shooting. Can you get better quality lighting kits? Absolutely. Can you get a more portable or inexpensive lighting kit? Nope. This is an easy recommendation for anyone who loves to shoot photos/video with their smartphones or DSLRs.
Great present, my brother loves it!
I was just playing with this in my hotel room and realized how much I really like this thing. It's so small, carrying it around in my to-go kit doesn't mean I have to sacrifice something else. This light is surprisingly bright at full power, but fortunately there's a dimmer that gives you some level of flexibility. Add to this it comes in a padded case that has a hot shoe mount and a clamp that attaches to your phone, it's a well thought out accessory. I'm glad I bought two of these if I ever want to have some fill light or background light. Not saying this will replace my other lighting sources, but if there's something that comes up that I haven't planned for, I have options.
Loveit It has been a great assistant for product photography. Also never leaves my bag Battery last 3 to 4 hrs in a 50% for sure Just my guess maybe more 5 around 20%
I have an S6 edge and while this does fit on my phone it isn't a great placement. It hits the power and volume buttons when you try to put it on in the right spot. Besides that though, this works great. It's helped me take product photos quickly for Instagram when I'm stuck inside with no natural light. If you're looking for something to help brighten up your photos that won't just add glare, definitely check this out.
Outstanding light output from a small source. Will provide enough light to read a book from 10 feet away in an otherwise unlit room. Mounted on hot shoe, it should provide good lighting coverage for 100mm macro lens if your working distance is about 4 inches. Sturdy enough for the price, so should last well if treated with ordinary care. Only possible downside is that the spacing of the LEDs makes the light act as if it is four point sources close together, so you may see multiple shadows if you film close to a solid light-colored background. Wide beam width makes it better than any flashlight, so should have gotten two for travel.
Great little light that can be used as needed for lighting cinematic scenes. Put it in an actor's hands and adjust brightness to mimic a well-lit cell phone. Stick it on a boom and get a great follow-shot through a dark hallway. Throw a small colored gel on it and add depth to the background and your cinematic image/stage.Came charged. With a diffuser and additional orange gel - she fires up fast and is adjustable using the scrolling dimmer. Also has a great little pouch that you can take with you in your bag or stick in your car. Perfect for lighting small products when shooting at a client's place as well. One's enough but grab 2.
Fits in my wallet on chain snugly against my phone, makes food photography at night time a breeze
This is a great little light to use with your phone when you need a bit of extra light. It might not work for a professional but works great for my regular pictures.
The overall lighting is reasonably bright, but the light is not entirely uniform on my device. The left half of the light produced is more than the right half. And in particular, the lower left quadrant of my unit is visibly brighter than the other three quadrants. This is only noticeable for close-up photography. When I get one or two feet away from the person or object, the light nonuniformity is not noticeable. It would appear that the individual LED's light output is not matched and can thus result in random areas producing different amounts of light. For indoor photography of a group of people, it works quite well and you would never notice the light nonuniformity since the light is more spread out. And the same is true for general photography. The battery life is better than I expected. I haven't timed the battery life since I have never approached the life of the battery. I usually charge the battery immediately after I've finished my task. It appears to retain the same brightness for the duration of my uses. The weight is not much I've not noticed it during a fairly long video shoot. They included an orange or amber colored filter to change the color temperature, but I will never use it. I have no idea what its purpose is. I would have far preferred to have a better light diffuser to make the LED's light appear to be more uniform and not 12 individual spread out light bulbs. It's basically a bright 12 LED flashlight. There is a wheel knob to continuously attenuate the intensity of the light. And the lower in intensity you go, the 12 individual LEDs are much easier to see. The 12 individual light sources become noticeable when a reflective surface is in the photo or video. This is good for fill flash" outdoors when your subject is shaded or indoors when backlit by a window. I want a true short duration flash for stop action photography or shaky hands. I don't know if the high powered LED response time is fast enough but I think they should be fast enough. It seems like a Bluetooth trigger pulse would work for a very short duration flash of light."
The size of the light is a little bigger than a business card. The goods are small and very bright, bright enough for short distance shots with my iPhone. I also like the high CRI that make color looks good.

You cannot go wrong buying this incredible rechargeable light with its Li-Ion battery and included accessories!

The GVB Gear Compact Daylight is a great tool for video cameras and action cameras. The light is so bright that it provides enough clarity to capture great footages. I'm very thrilled with this purchase!
As fill light for the size does excellent job. The internal battery is very convenient also long last up to 3 hrsIn over all it become indispensable for product photography
By Paul S.
very light weight, included yellow filter is a plus, magnetic mount for filter and diffuser is very useful as well as the included mounts - one for camera and one for the smart phone. I didn't know it would come with one for the smart phone and am anxious to try this as a flash for Yelp or Instagram photos. I got it in the deal zone for cheap and I'm glad I purchased two.
First off this light is a very good value. There are similar lights-nearly identical lights for sale. I own another brand and this one sells for significantly less and may be a touch brighter. It has a cheap plastic build quality, but thats not surprising. I will probably buy 2 or 3 more of these.

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when I requested the GVBGear GVBPL12 Pocket-Sized light, but since I had travel plans pending, it seemed like something that might come in handy. I was pleasantly surprised by the little kit that came with the light-- it included a carrying case, a charging cord, two filters, a camera mount bracket, and a cellphone mount bracket. I especially liked the magnetic filters, one of which is a diffusing filter and the other of which is a warming filter. The brackets are a little chintzy, but they work well enough. I ended up using the light several times during while traveling. It doesn’t get super bright, but it does a nice job of softening shadows. I like the warmth and diffusion from the filters; however, these can be removed for greater strength. It is worth noting that this light is NOT A FLASH; it stays on continuously, which is helpful for setting up shots and anticipating lighting. The light charges quickly and works for a reasonable amount of time. I have yet to push the 1.5-hour-run-time claim, but it worked at full power for a half hour with plenty of charge left, so that seems like a reasonable expectation. Overall, I am pleased with the portability and versatility of this little pocket light. It’s a handy gadget to have on hand for traveling or even general use. For folks who like to take pictures and would like a bit more control over lighting (without the intensity of a flash), this would be a worthwhile kit to have on hand.
These are terrific little lights, an upgrade on the Aputure Amaran AL-M9 with far more output and truer color. Generally I turn them way down as a slight lift to the shadows and catchlight for the eyes. Nice!
Love this light. Nice and compact and love that it has the inbuilt battery!
I got this as a promotion with a Moza Air 3.I don't expect much out of these little lights, and I'm sure if I had 5 to test out, this may or might not be the favorite. But I do have this one and it exceed my expectations. It was much brighter then I had imagined it would be. And the front cover is magnetic so you can put in your filter between it and the lights. It even comes with a nice case to keep it all together. No wire for charging but no big deal seeings how we all have lots of them.Would I recommend it? If your not expecting something to light up a lot of space, then no. But this might be a great small Vlog option.Either or, I'm happy to have it!
This is a great little light for casual photography and videography. It is not a premium, pro-grade light by any means. That said, it does a good enough job of creating a fill light for shooting casual pictures and/or videos, as well as a close-up light for shooting at night. It is also highly portable and rechargeable, making it easy and convenient to carry in the pocket or backpack for those candid shots. The light itself is surprisingly bright for its size. It has a 4x3 array of 12 5600K LED lights. The beam angle is 120°. It does a decent job of reproducing the real colors. It works great to illuminate close-up objects and to fill in nearby objects. Anything further would be too much for it. The plastic and build quality of the light isn't the best that I've seen but it is lightweight and sturdy nonetheless. It comes with a handy pouch and two attachments - an adjustable clamp type for attaching the light to a smartphone, and another hot shoe type for attaching to a DLSR (however, it doesn't have any electrical interface for the camera to trigger the light since it's always on). Once again, the plastic quality of the attachments isn't the best but it is sturdy and gets the job done. The light lasts a little over an hour on a full charge according to my test. There are 3 red LED indicators on the side to show you the remaining charge level. In addition, there is a small dial to adjust the brightness of the light. A soft white diffuser and an amble/yellow filter are provided. The diffuser is magnetically attached while the amble filter is not. You can't use the amble filter alone without the diffuser attached on the outside. All in all, this is a great light for the price. It is pocket-sized, rechargeable and capable of providing reliable lighting for a little over an hour. The build quality could use some work though (for the price, I can't really complain). This is my go-to light now when I shoot video with my phone. It does a good job of supplementing light to my video. I'm very impressed with it. Great product.
This thing is awesome. I'm guessing this type of light is primarily intended for shooting video rather than still pictures, as it is pretty blinding and would make your subjects unnecessarily squinty-eyed compared to a flash for the still photography. Even with both of the included filters on, it is uncomfortable to look at from 10 feet away when turned up to full brightness. Of course your video subjects will be affected as well, but that seems harder to avoid and is probably acceptable for most informal/non-professional use. The light comes with a couple mounting gizzies, one for cameras and one that clamps onto smartphones or iPods or whatever. They seem reasonably sturdy to me. While there is a good chance I will use this for shooting video at some point, to be honest I ordered it just because I wanted a bright rechargeable light source for things like camping and automotive emergencies. While it is not something you'd want to drag through the muddy trenches of World War 1, it having a lot of ventilation holes all over its housing, I think it will make a great utility light for my needs. It is nice that you can adjust the brightness over a wide range, without having to cycle through a dozen flashing and SOS signal modes to do it, and the battery level indicator lights are a feature I wish more flashlights had. I'm thinking to rig up a mount with a small pot magnet that I could stick under my car hood or to any iron or steel object. If I was searching the woods for a missing dog I'd probably want a conventional flashlight with a beam that cut through the fog for miles like a Coast Guard searchlight, but for roadside auto repairs or wiping my butt in the outhouse at camp this diffuse light is a lot more practical. Plus its compact, flat shape fits easily in my pocket.

A super bright solution for smartphone pictures and possibly for professional portraits pictures though I am not sure I would rely on this if it were a super professional job. I'm not a professional so I wouldn't use it but I think a pro could make candlelight look good. This is not a flash and doesn't get triggered on or off with a click of the camera. This pocket-sized LED panel is super bright and may actually save an otherwise dark picture. It can be held in your hand and fits nicely in the case. This package comes with a micro USB charger that can be charged through the USB port on your computer. Three red led lights tell you the battery strength and small dial on the side increases or decreases the brightness of the light. At full power the light is listed to last 1.5 hours. In conclusion, this portable light is a great asset for your smartphone pictures as a fill light or as full light in low light situations. It is NOT a flash that syncs with your phone.
THIS! It's just what I needed! I am a crafter/card maker and I take photos of everything I make. Our craftroom/office is FILLED with tons of lighting, but I always have shadows to deal with when using my phone as a camera. This on my phone is the perfect low cost fill-in! I'm not getting perfect photos every time!
GVBGear GVBPL12 Pocket-Sized Daylight On-Camera light with Built in Battery for DSLR Camera Video and iPhone with 12 Bulbs works much better than I expected for a product so compact and inexpensive. It is very easy to set up and use and provides a really impressive amount of light for when you are trying to capture images or video and need some more light. It comes with a carrying case and filter and also a clamp to attach to your smart phone or camera. The charge is listed as lasting 2 hours and is very easy to use. I have used it to take some video in a dark area and it worked very well. I am very pleased with it. I know a few people who could put this to use so it also makes for a useful and interesting gift. Neat product.
Loving this light weight light. Helps my camera find its focusing point easily while shooting with battery operated flashes. I also did not notice a change in my color temp, with it full powered, so that was awesome. I also later used it as a make-up light and it was awesome. Small and convenient, doesn't take up hardly any space. A must for on locations services of any sort.
Great compact lighting unit. Its just a little bit larger than a credit card in size. So this will fit in your pocket easily. It does come in a nice little carrying pouch that also holed the USB mini cable and the hot shoe connector (for DSLR cameras) and the cellphone bracket for your selfie stick. The light has 12 LED 5600k lights and two filter attachments, one for tungsten (yellow) color and one for soft white. The white is magnetic and the tungsten isn't so you can't use it without the white soft filter. no big deal because you want to have nice even lighting anyway. The 12 LED's really get super bright when turned up to full power. There is a dial on the side of the unit to control intensity. It also has an on off switch, 3 led's to show battery level and a spot to add a lanyard loop. The battery lasts about an hour or so at full power. Note that on full power the unit does get a little warm. More and more people have forgotten about point and shoot cameras so smartphones have taken over. With many of the new phones out recently, they now have 4k video as well as high megapixel cameras. This light is great for people who want to take video as well as photos but don't want to lug around a DSLR and a light. Having a pocket size light that really illuminates well in a compact size is a major yes. Sometimes i need to take a photo of an art piece i created but don't want to lug out the major equipment. This is great for my mini light box which has two upper lights, i can fill in spots with this small unit and use my phone to take a great quick pic. Many people have social media blogs and can really get great results with this for their videos. No more dark or grainy vids/images.
Let me say right away, this is not a premium product. The type of plastic used isn't something that is made to hold up to a lot. That said, this is a light that I'll be taking around with me. What you're getting is a pretty minimalist design.12 LEDs wired to a Li-Po battery and stuffed in a plastic case. You can literally look in the vent holes on the back and see the battery sitting there. This is just aesthetics though so if it matters to you you're doing it wrong. A simple on/off switch and a dial for dimming are the controls. The dimmer doesn't give a smooth gradient but there the steps are small so you'll be able to get the brightness you need for a given situation. I've found sometime when turning all the way down it doesn't reach the smallest setting. With a little fiddling up and down it get's down there. The accessories cover everything you need: a hotshoe mount, phone mount, short charging cable, and a nice little neoprene case. You also get a frosted plastic softener that attaches with magnets and an orange filter for changing light temperature. The plastic these are made of looked all scuffed up but they just had film coverings that we're obvious. Both mounts use a plastic ring and threads that I've had bad luck with before however I notice the rings are much thicker so they should hold up better. I have a Pixel 2 that the phone mount fits fine and it's spring-loaded mechanism gets even bigger so it should fit any phone on the market. This isn't a well polished product. There probably needs to be a little more thought put into heat dissipation because I left it on high for 10 minutes and those LEDs were getting kind of toasty. The whole things is a little plastic-y if you know what I mean. As I said earlier though, if you want it to look good it's at the wrong end of the camera. You get enough light that it's painful to look at in a small portable package. I'll be making use of it.
This is a very nice camera light that is just the right size for small scale video blogging or smart phone photography. It comes with a bracket so that you can attach it to your smart phone and has a couple of filters to defuse the light or change the color. It also worked well as a fill light when I tested it detached from the smart phone. . It is quite bright at its brightest - surprisingly so for a light that has only 12 LEDs. It's small and quite light - just about 5 ounces. I like the fact that it does not use batteries and can be easily recharged with the included cable. It has a hot shoe that should allow it to work with a camera, though I did not test that. It does not synch with smart phone software so you just turn it on and take your photos. The spring loaded clip that you use to attach it to a smart phone seems a bit rickety and I wonder how well it will last. The other components seem solid.
Wow that is bright! I was very impressed when I took this out of the box and turned it on, and then turned it up. Wow. The nice wheel based brightness and the magnetic color / tungsten / filter works pretty good and it comes with 2 shoe adapters to allow for a few different set ups. This is a great little light to have to either be a direct talent light or even a key light for on the go. It seems bright enough to use with a reflector and is super small. It also comes with a small but very functional and nice zipper case, and all in all, I am very impressed with the light output of this little light. The tungsten filter is a nice addition and the wheel based brightness allows you to fine tune a little to get just the right amount of light.
Great light that puts out a decent amount of light. Very thin and lightweight, making it easy to transport. It also comes with the hot shoe swivel mount adapter. Just know that you'll be needing your own power source. This light does not come with a battery or an AC power cord.
I'm very impressed with how much light something this small can actually put out. I'm currently using the light for a vlogging rig and at its maximum output, I can't look at the light comfortably. It puts out a lot of light and that's great!
I just recently decided to try this little light for our run and gun shoots, as I find you can never have enough lights. While I do have other compact lights we use often that are pretty good, they are a bit bulky and require batteries. What I liked about the GVBPL12 was that it is thinner in its profile then the other lights I have and its rechargeable via a simple USB connection. You can just throw one of these in your shirt or even your pants pocket, its only slightly larger then a credit card and just a little over 1/2 inch thick, which is great when you already have a bunch of gear with you the small size is welcomed. Small lights like this are hit and miss from my experience, some appear like they fit the bill are compact and seem like they would be great, but yield light with odd color reproduction due to the use of cheaper LED's that do not have any real color accuracy what so ever. That is not what you want in a light used for Video or Photography as it must reproduce skin tones and colors as accurately as possible. Now you are probably wondering is this light a worthwhile addition to your kit. Is it bright enough for any real world use, does a single charge actually last as long as claimed, does it produce good color? The answer is yes, while this light only has 12 LED's, it is surprisingly bright for its tiny compact size, even brighter then other lights I own that are bigger and have more LED's. However the overall weight of the light with no swivel mount came in at just 3.4oz and 3.9oz with the supplied bracket. All my other lights are closer to 5.2oz or more. That may not seem like much but when your running around with your cam in a cage handheld it can make a difference. I often hold a small light separately for my partner to get the right look. This light works well for that too, so I decided to mount it on a baby pin which acts as a small handle, just an idea I had that works great. PLEASE SEE PICS This light is actually very good for its size and cost and has pretty nice build quality in this range, the light it produces is very pleasing and smooth using the magnetic defuser supplied, without any strange color shifts, flicker or cast. It has a built in dimmer circuit that is a little different then others tested. While many compact lights do have a dimmer built in, you must use that same switch to turn it on and off. The GVBPL12 on the other hand has 2 separate switches, one to turn it on and off, and the other dedicated to just dimming. In my opinion is very nice because you can just dial in the brightness. You need turn it off but keep your last brightness setting, not possible with other lights that use the dimmer as the main switch. It even has three small battery indicator lights that give you a good idea of how much charge is still left in the light. Both of these features show me that some thought was put into the design. The company claims 1.5 hours at full brightness. My tests showed that on full charge at full brightness I got just a little over 1 hr and 30 min of usable light. The last battery indicator started flashing at 1hr and 26 min and then shut off completely at 1 hr and 31 min. So you know that when you see the last indicator flashing you have maybe 5 min of usable light left, this can be very handy to know. I can't be sure about long term reliability as I have only owned and used it for a few weeks, only time will tell on that one, but based on its build and how well it worked during use I would think it should last a while. Over all I would recommend this light to other film makers who want a nice bright compact rechargeable on camera light, that's affordable, will give you good color accuracy and a good constant run time.
This product is awesome and I love the size of it as well. It is a nice light to have on the go or in the studio and I am happy to have the chance to use it. Only thing that could be changed is including a 12V power supply with it. Other than that I love it!
I own many video lights and this one is the best. Not only is it light, compact and bright, but it's easy to pack and travel with. If you are looking for a light for your camera, BUY THIS ONE!! I recommend it to everyone with a camera!
I take a lot of pictures indoors, mostly products. When taking the pictures I noticed they were so dark that it wasn’t doing the product justice. But I didn’t want to go for a lighting kit due to the price, but I’m glad I didn’t. I have not been disappointed. When using the light correctly it has helped light up my photos immensely. Its really lightweight! Just as they advertised, which is nice since my Canon 5D Mark III is heavy already. Just be aware that it doesn’t come with batteries, but once I got them it worked perfectly. I’m really happy with the quality and brightness of the light. It does what I need it for.
